Stephanie Becerra
Stephanie Becerra graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science - Energy and Climate from Cal Poly Humboldt. With a strong passion for sustainability her background includes completing a service term with AmeriCorps as an Urban Forestry and Drought Specialist, interning for Grid Alternatives as a Community Outreach Intern promoting the installment of solar power systems in under-served communities, volunteering with the San Diego River Park Foundation and volunteering as a Tern Watcher with San Diego Bird Alliance and completing the Advocacy Program in the summer of 2023. Stephanie shares the belief that sustainability means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In her spare time, she likes to volunteer at beach and community cleanups, tree planting events and learn about regenerative agriculture. She is a Farming 101 graduate from Wild Willow Farm & Education Center in her hometown San Diego.
