Muriel Spooner
Muriel is a retired biopharmaceutical research scientist and regulatory affairs professional with a BS in Zoology from the University of California at Davis (UCD) and is certified as a Regulatory Affairs Professional. She has served on the Conservation Committee since 2018 and participates in multiple volunteer opportunities with San Diego Bird Alliance (SDBA), such as serving as a docent at Kendall Frost Reserve, Ternwatcher, and habitat restoration participant. She has a long history of volunteer work in addition to SDBA, including a stint as the Normal Heights Community Association co-chair, Meals on Wheels delivery person, and activities associated with other non-profit organizations. She has a lifetime love of birds and other creatures and thinks there is a little birder in everyone that just needs some inspiration to show itself.
