Silverwood Habitat Restoration Volunteer Event
We need as many extra hands as possible to help remove invasive plants at our lovely Silverwood Wildlife Sanctuary on Friday, April 22.
Spring is here and we need your help pulling non-native vegetation before they can go to seed. This will be our last big effort for the season and it is vital for the continuing health of Silverwood’s coastal chaparral and riparian woodland ecosystems.
Please register by clicking the orange "RSVP Now" button towards the top right of this page.
Volunteers should work in long pants and boots or sturdy shoes. It’s always a good idea to wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. We will provide gloves and tools. Restrooms and hand sanitizer is available on the property.
By registering for this volunteer event at an SDAS property you are agreeing to the terms, conditions, and code of conduct outlined in the waiver below for yourself and any members of your household who are attending. Please review the waiver before proceeding with registration.
Note: On the morning of this event, the property will be open only to staff and the volunteers who registered. Silverwood is open to visitors on Sundays. Please check our events calendar for more information.
