San Diego River Mouth Beautification
Join us at this partner event with the San Diego River Park Foundation to beautify the trail system at the mouth of the San Diego River! Volunteers will help remove invasive weeds, replace disintegrated rope, and make the trail system more obvious to recreationists. Our Speak for the Mouth docents have been working hard to inform the public of how to be responsible stewards of this magnificent location, a designated Important Bird Area adjacent to OB Dog Beach, and this is an important step along the way.
This event will be guided by SDRPF staff and all tools will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty. Sun protection and a reusable water bottle are a good idea too! You're welcome to bring your own gloves, but it is not required.
