TERNWATCHERS

TERNWATCHERS

Interested in helping local wildlife?

You may have joined San Diego Bird Alliance on many occassions restoring nesting habitat for the California Least Tern, a federally endangered migratory seabird.

Now, we present the opportunity to become a part of TERNWATCHERS, a volunteer program dedicated to monitoring predators and safeguarding the nesting areas of the endangered California Least Tern. Your contribution will support the nesting success by vigilantly watching over nests and recording disturbances observed in Mission Bay.

We are excited train the next cohort of volunteers! This program runs from April to September with flexibility to schedule your own hours! Register now for the two-part training:
