Join us for a day of gratitude for and celebration of San Diego Bird Alliance, celebrating 75 years of conservation, education and restoration work in San Diego.

Art activities:
- Make your own bird mask, butterfly mask and wand, or quail top knot for the Parade!
- Make pollinator stamps
- Color in drawings of your favorite birds

- Make enrichment toys for parrots to enjoy at their sanctuary

Animal encounters:
- Meet the wonderful live animal ambassadors from Avian Behavior International, Living Coast Discovery Center, Free Flight, Tecolote Canyon Nature Center, and Zovargo!
- Meet and learn about hawks and owls, parrots and other birds, reptiles (including snakes!), mammals and cool insects
- Observe river bugs under a microscope
- Learn about red wiggler worms, and more!

Walk in the Parade of the Species!
All attendees are welcome to come in costume and walk in the parade.
Don't have a costume? Make one at the event!
We're attempting to group parade participants by species group. Please let us know if you would like to walk in the parade.

Three volunteer shifts are available:
7:00 am to 11:30 am
11:00 am to 3:00 pm
2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Roles include but are not limited to: exhibitor load in, greeting, security, helping at art tables, exhibitor load out, stage crew, cleanup crew and more!
Event volunteers get a 75th Anniversary t-shirt.
